Sometimes Less Can Be More

So... (i think i start every thing with that... anyway) today i decided that i'd do a bit of a natural look at the office. Of course a natural look consists of Time Wise Matte Wear Liquid Foundation, MK Mineral Cheek color in Golden Copper, MK Mineral Bronzing Powder in Canyon Gold, MK NouriShine Lip gloss in Pink Luster and Cream and Sugar... and some lashes. HA! Still, the look is very minimal yet has just enough umph to Dazzle! ;-)

No Occasion Necessary..

For a long time, i didn't wear much makeup. not because i wasn't into it, but because i felt like i looked ridiculous with a full face or flashy colors if it wasn't a special occasion or if i wasn't going out (or on stage for that matter). I finally figured out that i would never get over that feeling if i didn't just grow some and start being a little more daring! The hardest part is getting used to seeing yourself all dolled up with a mediocre place to go. lol! But y not be dolled up? Y wait for an occasion to dictate when u add some Razzle Dazzle to your regular fabulous appearance? Play in your makeup! Throw on your nicest clothes! A go big, even if your just going to the office or picking your kids up from school! Remember, Razzle Dazzle is a MUST! Even if that means you're the only one dressed for fun while everyone else looks like they just rolled out of bed!

Time Wise Miracle Set + Microdermabrasion Set!!!

When I had my first experience with Mary Kay, I was given the opportunity to try some of the products via an MK facial... I thought that the products were great and felt like I would totally use them again, but, to be honest, I wasn't exactly sold on the whole paying more than the $5 that I spent at Target or Walmart for skin care products. Lol! The one (non cosmetic) product I did immediately fall in love with was the Microdermabrasion Set...

It uses the same crystals used in salons for microdermabrasion treatments... but it doesn't cost $200 and it still makes my skin look and feel magical! Unlike most products that are meant to exfoliate skin, this one doesn't create the little cuts that can makes skin susceptible to bacteria and breakouts. Not to mention that I only use it once and my skin stays feeling smooth, and my makeup goes on a lot smoother... even without primer! It's seriously my favorite thing in the world for my face. So yea, there are 2 steps.. step 1 Refine: reduces the appearance of pores by removing the dead skin cells that form inside and around the outer edge of every pore... in short, it does amazing things! Ha! Step 2 Replenish: is a quick-desolving solution that you use after step 1 and patting dry. It helps reduce the redness brought on by step 1 with anti-irritants, has skin nourishing antioxidants and leaves skin feeling super soft and smooth. BOOM! It's so great.

Well, when I signed up to be a consultant (Happy Day!), they sent me a kit and it had everything that I would need to conduct skin care classes and show off the more awesome of the awesome skin care products. I remembered liking the Miracle Set and figured that I can't expect to convince ppl that this stuff is awesome if i'm not using it myself so... I decided to start using the Time Wise Miracle Set.....

 It consists of the 3-in-1 cleanser, day and night solutions and age fighting moisturizer. I used it day and night to make sure I was really getting the full effect and BOOM! Tho I don't have many concerns about wrinkles and whatnot, my skin felt firmer and softer and it looked... brighter! I thought to myself "this stuff is magic!" hahahahaha! don't get me wrong, I am human, so there are days where I end up slackin on my mackin and I go to bed without washing my face (THE HORROR!!!) but, the next day I'm always able to refresh with the set and my favorite part of this set... my absolute LOVE in this set is actually the night solution! (don't tell anyone about this but...) when i'm feeling super lazy but don't want to wake up to death in the mirror, I'll baby wipe my makeup off and totally slather some night solution on and when I wake up in the morning my skin looks amazing! Like I could seriously walk out the door and no one would guess that I didn't wash my face yet.... I don't do that.. but I totally could.

So.... Miracle set along wit the Microderabrasion set is a magical thing in my life right now and if I ever had to make a choice as to what I would not want to live without ever ever again... it would be the Microdermabrasion set and the night solution... The day solution is pretty amazing too, it's the first spf i've tried that didn't feel oily. The cleanser is light and gentle, yet my face actually feels super clean and not dry when I use it. And the moisturizer... ok, the moisturizer is going on the list too because it's sooo light! I don't feel dry.. ever! And I don't feel oily.. ever! It's a must have as well... They all work together as a team to improve skin all around AND prevent and reverse the signs of aging and I think that makes these winners... WINNERS I SAY! lol! Hope this was helpful and enjoyable! Botanical Effects Skincare System!!!...

I've tried quite a few products on my skin... I mean, non-cosmetic products. And usually they end up drying my face out, breaking my face out or just not doing what it said it would do... hence the trying quite a few products. Well, I found the MK Time Wise Miracle Set and, paired with the Microdermabrasion Set, I'm in LOVE! But there's a new set of products that have been catching my eye along with the eyes of some of my Dazzlers! The Mary Kay Botanical Effects Skin Care line has become one of the more popular skin care systems, from what I've seen. It doesn't have the same anti-aging ingredients as the Time Wise collection, but it's gentle, non-stripping formula has an appeal that many people are looking for. It comes in 3 different formulas: Formula 1 for dry skin, Formula 2 for normal skin and Formula 3 for oily skin. I haven't made the switch because, like I said, I LOVE my Time Wise, but I did try the Formula 3 Mask (which removes impurities as it revitalizes skin) in the middle of the week as kind of a refresher between microdermabrasion treatments and WOW! My face felt smooth, extra clean and refreshed. I've decided to make it a part of my routine! A friend of mine and director in the Mary Kay business, sent me an email and I was pretty amazed. Sometimes you don't need something that's made specifically for acne treatment, you just need to take care of your skin with great products....
